Facilitator, Brand Strategist, Program Advisor
Leigh Robbie’s work is informed by over a decade of experience connecting communities to land, food and sustainable life practices, and nearly 2 decades of experience as a trained facilitator. At UC Santa Cruz's Center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems (CASFS) she managed the historic Apprenticeship in Ecological Horticulture, guiding a the center’s strategic planning process and facilitating the apprenticeship program’s redesign and relaunch. Her work as a facilitator is greatly influenced by years spent leading and learning alongside teenagers at the farming organization, Urban Roots, managing the community food project, Alemany Farm, and directing the education department at Foodwise. As the Chief Creative Officer of The Nest, Leigh Robbie brings equal parts experience and enthusiasm to her curation and leadership of the Woven Studios strategic planning and facilitation team.

Facilitator, Strategic Advisor
Omi’s facilitation is guided by Black Feminist principles and theatrical jazz aesthetics. She has conducted workshops for Solidaire Network, The Ford Foundation, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Educafro (Sao Paulo, Brazil), Thousand Currents, the Institute on Governance and Democracy (Ile-Ife, Nigeria), and a host of academic institutions. Omi holds a Ph.D. from New York University, and an Embodied Social Justice Certificate from Transformative Change. Omi’s intergenerational leadership and depth of experience across fields of social justice provide invaluable frameworks for strategic planning processes with our clients.

Anchal has years of experience facilitating different stakeholders through processes like development strategy, communications strategy and event planning. While at Castanea Fellowship, Anchal led the Executive Director and Executive Communications Committee through communications strategy planning and adoption process. While at Minnow, Anchal designed and implemented the organization’s grassroots funding strategy and engaged the Minnow community to mobilize resources. And while at the Sustainable Economies Law Center, she shepherded the organization towards the creation of Major Donors strategy for 2020-2022. Anchal brings a deep understanding of food systems and organizational systems to our strategic planning sessions with clients, weaving together skills in fundraising, communications, and design to support organizations rooted in social justice values.

Shana holds twenty-five years of stewarding organizations through processes that map ways toward collective visions. Her experience has been focused on justice and cultural organizing, infrastructure development, program and curriculum design, cooperative economics, participatory planning and evaluation, team management, communications, event planning, and collective learning through a popular education praxis. Shana’s deep and wide background in strategic planning and organizational design gives our clients access to a range of methodologies and tactics to support their growth and strategic development.

Facilitator & Key Results Measurement Manager
Kat is a strategic leader with a versatile skill set and a broad perspective. She draws on 15 years as Owner/CEO of an educational services company, which sold in 2016 and is still thriving. She has also led a parallel 20+ year career at the University of California in various roles within research and operations. She has spent the last 3+ years as the Director of Strategy and Transformation at a global project management consultancy. Kat holds a Master of Business Administration and certifications in Project Management,Prosci Organizational Change Management, and a Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt. She brings a strong foundation in organizational principles and strategic thinking that help our clients develop innovative strategies to drive positive change and build supportive structures.
