Woven Studios at The Nest designed a printed brochure documenting the making and impact of the historical Berkeley mural -- The Invisible Becomes Visible, created by Edythe Boone.
Inspired by the mural itself, The Invisible Becomes Visible, the Woven Studios design team created a brochure to reflect on the rich history and significance of the mural. The design included the creation of an artistic rendering of the area represented in the mural, and a graphic icon that was incorporated throughout the brochure.
Edythe Boone is a self-taught painter/muralist whose work spans more than four decades both in New York where She was born, and in California where she currently resides. She has made monumental scale murals as well as her own paintings and drawings. She is fiercely independent and inventive in her portraiture and collage motif work. She has been a teacher for children, youth, and senior citizens, inspiring all to tap into their inner worlds to find images.
