Woven Studios at The Nest is honored to have planned and produced this Los Angeles celebration of the extraordinary author, Sharon Bridgforth, and her latest body of work -- bull-jean & dem/dey back! We also designed all of the event assets.
The book party was hosted at Navel in Downtown LA, which offered the perfect backdrop to welcome a dynamic cross section of Sharon Bridgforth fans! Guests bought signed copies of several of the author's books, enjoyed readings from bull-jean & dem/dey back by local artists who have been inspired by Sharon's work, went behind the scenes of the author's work through an interview and Q&A led by artist and scholar, Daniel Alexander Jones, and danced together on the dance floor!
